It Takes A Village To Raise A Family - The Village Downtown

A decade has passed since the small cafe & art gallery have opened up it’s doors in the historic downtown Bryan, Texas. The Village Downtown has been one the top choices for the local food scene offering some of the best breakfast, brunch, and dinner. With a warm and welcoming staff, you should be ready for them to recommend your next midnight craving. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful! We ordered the Chipotle Chicken Chorizo with their zesty Tomato Basil Soup. Boy were we in for a treat!

With a big appetite, we could not wait to get our plate. As we waited, we stopped to admire the artwork on display. Mary Skow’s work added to the culture of The Village Downtown. Her paintings told a story of downtown Bryan, TX, from buildings to landscape scenes.

The food came as we were daydreaming about the history of the very building that we were standing in. Our eyes widened as we turned around and saw the dishes on the table. The chorizo from Jimmy Bobby’s Sausage Company gave the pasta a slight hint of flavor without too much spice. The soup’s ingredients blended and complimented the pasta beautifully. With food as saucy as their personality, The Village Downtown will continue to paint their history in downtown Bryan, Texas.
